Searching Lone Worker Devices

How to search for lone worker devices in the Safepoint Web Portal & Mobile App

Note: Only Company Owners or Admins can search all devices in the company.

If your organisation has a large number of devices, finding a specific device can feel tricky. The Safepoint Web Portal and Mobile App makes this simple with powerful search and filtering tools.

Web Portal

Find the devices list

  1. Open the Web Portal

  2. Click 'Settings' in the left hand side bar

  3. Click 'Devices' to open the devices list

Ways to search and filter

Text search

Use the search box to quickly find a device by name, team name, user name or ID. The search is flexible and supports:

  • Minor spelling mistakes

  • Diacritics (e.g. a vs. Γ )

  • Upper and lower case

Filter options

Click Filter on the left to narrow down the list in different ways:

  • Battery – show All, Low, or Good.

  • Features – filter by enabled features such as Fall, Tilt or Geofence alerts, or WIFI.

  • Team – display devices assigned to specific teams.

Scan QR code

If you have the device with you, you can scan it using your computer's camera. Simply click the 'Camera' icon next to the text box, then scan the QR code on the back of the device. It will now automatically paste the device ID into the text search.

  1. Open the app

  2. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner

  3. Tap 'Devices'

Text search

Use the search box to quickly find a device by name, team name, user name or ID.

Scan QR code

If you have the device with you, you can scan it using your phone's camera. Simply tap 'scan' next to the text box, then scan the QR code on the back of the device. It will now automatically paste the device ID into the text search.
