There are two ways to check a device’s battery level. You can either look directly at the red LED indicator on the device, or view the battery status remotely, as the device reports this information back to our servers. The digital option lets you check battery levels from anywhere.

Via the red LED light

  • Light on (solid) = device has been fully charged

  • Light flashing (out of dock) = battery is lower than 20%

  • Light flashing (in dock) = device is charging

Via the Web Portal

  1. Make sure you are logged into the Web Portal

  2. Click 'Settings' in the left hand side bar

  3. Click 'Devices'

  4. Find the device you're interested in
Note: See this article if you need help searching for the device

  5. Under the 'Status' column, there will be a battery icon. Hover over it for the percentage, charging state, and the last time it was updated.

Via QR code scanning

  1. Open camera app on your phone

  2. Scan the QR code on the back of the device

  3. Once the webpage opens, log in if prompted

  4. Under 'Status', there will be a battery icon. Tap or hover the mouse over it for the percentage, charging state, and the last time it was updated.

Via the Mobile App

  1. Open the Safepoint app

  2. Tap the menu button in the top left corner

  3. Tap 'Devices'

  4. Find the device and tap it
Note: See this article if you need help searching for the device
