I can’t hear alert sounds. What do I do?

How to fix not being able hear audio alerts in the Web Portal.

Safepoint will play an audio alarm when an alert is triggered by a lone worker. If you cannot hear this alarm, please try the following:

  1. The Portal’s tab in your browser might be muted. This can generally be fixed by right clicking the tab and selecting unmute, however this varies depending on the web browser you are using.

  2. Check your operating system’s sound is on and volume is sufficiently high.

  3. Check your external speakers are working correctly.
