When a worker triggers an alert, whether that's manually in the app, using a wearable panic alarm, or through a safety task timing out, a Guardian will be able to respond.

How to respond:

  1. When an alert is received you will either receive a notification and alarm on the Web Portal, an email, or an SMS.

  2. Navigate to the task that is alerting. Here you can see who triggered the alert and further details on the task they are carrying out. Note: You can click on the worker's name to see their contact and emergency details.

  3. To respond, click "Guardian Actions", this will bring up instructions on how to resolve the alert.

  4. Click "Acknowledge Alert", this will inform other Guardians that you are taking control of the situation. It will also inform the Worker that you are responding to their alert.

  5. In the "Guardian Actions" panel you can now follow your company procedures to resolve the alert. You may also have a number of emergency company contacts in this panel should you need to inform management of the incident. Note: You can add a text note to a task as you progress through your company procedures by clicking "Add Note" at any time.

  6. Once you have resolved the situation click "Resolve Alert". You will be presented with a form to complete detailing the incident and how you resolved it. Add as much detail as possible.

  7. Click "Submit resolution" to resolve the alert.

If the Worker's task has time remaining, it will continue once you have resolved the alert. If the task has no time remaining it will be automatically set as complete.
