Turning on PIN codes

How to turn on PIN codes in the Web Portal.

Any team can have PIN codes or voice clips set as mandatory for Worker's in that team.

If PIN codes are active, Worker's will be prompted to enter their numerical PIN when carrying out actions in the mobile app, such as extending or completing a task. This prevents anyone taking their phone and disabling Safepoint without their permission.

To activate either PIN codes for a team:

  1. Ensure you are logged into the Safepoint Portal and you are either a Company Admin or a Team Admin of the team you updating.

  2. Open your team's settings by clicking on your team's name in the menu on the left and then clicking "Settings" in the top right of the screen.

  3. In the "Team Details" section, toggle either PIN on or off here (on is blue, off is red).

  4. Click "Save Changes" to save your selection. This will be immediately set as live in the mobile app.
