There are three methods of triggering an emergency alert:

Manual in-app request for help

  1. You can trigger a manual alert when in or out of a task

  2. In both cases, tap the big red 'Request help' button

  3. A five-second countdown will begin

  4. Tap the button again to cancel the alert, or leave it to trigger the alert when it reaches 0

  5. An alert has now been created

Task Time-Out Alert

  1. Create a task

  2. Wait for the task timer to countdown to zero

  3. You will receive a notification to inform you that your task has timed out

  4. An alert has now been created

Wearable Panic Alarm

  1. Make sure your wearable panic alarm is paired to the Safepoint App.

  2. Press the wearable panic alarm for two seconds, or trigger the man-down fall sensor

  3. An alert has now been created

Note: for instructions on connecting the wearable panic alarm, please follow the Connecting the Wearable Panic Alarm article.
