How to create a quick task in the App

‘Quick Tasks’, allow users to quickly set up standardised tasks based on what they do most.

For example, if you use Safepoint for your daily commute, you could set up a quick task called ‘Driving to Site’, and set it to an hour. Once you’ve set it up, you can start a task with one simple tap! What’s more, you can set up as many quick tasks as you like.

Creating a quick task

  1. Open the Safepoint app

  2. Ensure you are a member of a team and have an active license

  3. Tap the Home button at the bottom of the screen

  4. Tap the dark blue 'Task' button located at the bottom right

  5. Enter a task title

  6. Enter a duration

  7. Check 'Save as quick task'

  8. Review and tap 'Create Task'

  9. Your task is now active and has been saved as a quick task

Using a quick task

  1. Tap the Home button at the bottom of the screen

  2. Tap the dark blue 'Task' button located at the bottom right

  3. Tap 'Start' next to the relevant quick task
