The wearable panic alarm is incredibly straightforward to set up.
Connecting the wearable panic alarm to the App:
Open the Safepoint App
Ensure that you are logged into an account
Tap the 'Account' button at the bottom right
Tap 'Wearable Panic Alarm'
Hold the button down for 10-seconds, the device will beep and flash as it enters its pairing mode
The device should appear in the list with the name "Button XX:XX:XX"
Tap 'Connect' next to the button
The wearable panic alarm is now connected
Further settings:
You can optionally turn on fall detection to have the device trigger an alert when you fall over
You can optionally turn on silent mode, which prevents the device from making a sound for more discretion when triggering alerts
Testing:
Once set up, hold down the button for 2-seconds and release it to trigger an alarm
You're all done and ready to use your wearable panic alarm!
Note: If you are having trouble with the above, you can reset your wearable panic alarm by holding the button down for a full 30-seconds until it beeps and flashes multiple times. Once reset, start from step 1 to set up the device from scratch.
