We recommend each lone worker has their own wearable panic alarm as once they are paired with a phone, they will never need to be re-paired. However, we understand that some organisations may share a few wearable panic alarm devices between a larger number of staff.

If you have a number of devices in front of you it can sometimes be confusing to tell which device is which! The easiest solution is to make use of the beeps that the wearable panic alarm makes to determine which one you have paired to. To do this:

  1. Attempt to pair normally by following this guide taking note of the number of the device you pair to (it'll look like "Button XX:XX:XX").

  2. Once you are paired to the wearable panic alarm, tap 'Find'. The device in your hand should beep for 20 seconds to confirm that you have paired to it correctly.

What if the wearable panic alarm in your hand isn't beeping?

  1. You may have a different wearable panic alarm in front of you that is beeping, if so, that's the one you've paired with!

  2. If you don't have another device beeping nearby, tap "Forget" and attempt to pair to a different device (one that has a different name, so "Button AA:BB:01" instead of "Button 10:XX:YY").

  3. Repeating the process of re-pairing and tapping 'Find' should allow you to locate your wearable panic alarm with ease.

What if I have a large number of wearable panic alarms?

If you have a large number of wearable panic alarms we recommend labelling them with a permanent marker or a sticker label. You only need to write the 6 character code, such as "AA:BB:01", as these are unique to each device. Now all you need to do is read the 6 character code from the label and then connect to the device that has that code in the app.
