Adding or updating your emergency information

How to add or update your emergency information in the Safepoint Web Portal and Mobile App

When a worker triggers an alert, their Guardians can see their emergency information. This information can be life-saving, such as existing medical conditions, or simply an identifying feature such as hair colour. We recommend users fill out this information; however, it is optional.

Web Portal

Description

  1. Make sure you are logged into the Web Portal

  2. Navigate to the emergency information page, or find it manually by clicking on your name in the top left corner of the screen > Account Settings > Emergency Information

  3. Within the "Description" section, click "Edit"

  4. Add or update the fields necessary

  5. Tap "Save" once finished, or "Cancel" to revert the changes

Medical Info

  1. Make sure you are logged into the Web Portal

  2. Navigate to the emergency information page, or find it manually by clicking on your name in the top left corner of the screen > Account Settings > Emergency Information

  3. Within the "Medical Info" section, click "Edit"

  4. Add or update the fields necessary

  5. Tap "Save" once finished, or "Cancel" to revert the changes

Next of Kin

  1. Make sure you are logged into the Web Portal

  2. Navigate to the emergency information page, or find it manually by clicking on your name in the top left corner of the screen > Account Settings > Emergency Information

  3. Within the "Next of Kin" section, click "Edit"

  4. Click "Add contact" to add a contact

  5. Fill in their name, their relationship to you (e.g. Father), and their phone number

  6. Click "Add another" if you want to add more contacts
    ​Note: You can remove by clicking "Remove" next to the contact, or reorder them by clicking and holding the handle on the right and dragging the contact to it's new position

  7. Tap "Save" once finished, or "Cancel" to revert the changes
    ​

Mobile App

Description

  1. Open the Safepoint app

  2. Ensure you are logged into an account

  3. Tap the 'Account' button at the bottom right

  4. Tap 'Profile'

  5. Tap 'Description'

  6. Add your descriptive information, such as height, age and eye colour. This information can help should first responders need to confirm that they've reached the correct person if you are unconscious

  7. Tap 'Save' once you're finished

Medical information

  1. Open the Safepoint app.

  2. Ensure that you are logged into an account.

  3. Tap the 'Account' button at the bottom right

  4. Tap 'Profile'

  5. Tap 'Medical info'

  6. Add information such as blood type, allergies, existing conditions and any medication you are currently on. This information could save your life if a Guardian has to send a medical team to your aid

  7. Tap 'Save' once you're finished

Next of kin

  1. Open the Safepoint app.

  2. Ensure that you are logged into an account.

  3. Tap the 'Account' button at the bottom right

  4. Tap 'Profile'

  5. Tap 'Next of kin'

  6. Tap 'Add' in the top right corner
    ​Note: To update or delete a contact, tap the contact, edit, then tap 'Save', or tap "Delete contact"

  7. Fill in their name, their relationship to you (e.g. Father), and their phone number

  8. Tap 'Save' once you're finished
