Enabling the PIN for a team

How to turn on the PIN requirement in the Safepoint Web Portal and Mobile App

Note: Only Company Owners, Admins and Team Admins can enable the PIN requirement for a team.

Any team can have a 4-digit PIN codes set as mandatory for workers in that team.

If PIN codes are active, workers will be prompted to enter their numerical PIN when carrying out actions in the App, such as extending or completing a task. This prevents anyone from taking their phone and disabling Safepoint without their permission.

Web Portal

  1. Click 'Settings' in the left hand side bar

  2. Click 'Teams'

  3. Find the team and select it

  4. Under the 'Task Settings' section, find 'PIN'

  5. Toggle PIN to ON

  6. Click 'Save'

Mobile App

  1. Open the App

  2. Ensure you are a company or team admin

  3. Tap the menu icon at the top left of the screen

  4. Tap 'Task settings'

  5. Toggle the 'PIN' section to configure it appropriately
