An Alert in Safepoint is an urgent notification raised when there’s a potential risk to your safety. Alerts can be triggered manually by a worker or automatically by the system, and they are always directed to guardians or, if enabled, to Safepoint’s 24/7 monitoring centre, more info here.
Manual in-app request for help
You can trigger a manual alert when in or out of a task
In both cases, tap the big red 'Request help' button
A five-second countdown will begin
Tap the button again to cancel the alert, or leave it to trigger the alert when it reaches 0
An alert has now been created

Wait for the task timer to countdown to zero
You will receive a notification to inform you that your task has timed out
