However, data usage may vary depending on how the app is used. Safepoint only uses data during active tasks or alarms, for example, when streaming location information. If Safepoint is used continuously over long periods, such as during eight hours of travel, data usage will be higher than if it is used periodically throughout the day while remaining in the same location.
For context, an hour of listening to music on Spotify uses approximately 43MB of data and an hour of scrolling through Facebook (without watching videos!) is approximately 100MB of data.
